1.   What Traumeel S is and what it is used for

Traumeel S is a homeopathic preparation.

2.   What you need to know before you use Traumeel S

Do not take Traumeel S:
-   if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of Traumeel S (listed in section 6);
-   if you are allergic or hypersensitive to arnica or any other plants in the daisy or celery family.
-   In principle, Echinacea (coneflowers) are not recommended in case of systemic diseases, such as TBC, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection and other autoimmune diseases. In case of thyroid problems use only if advised by your doctor.

Other medicines and Traumeel S

Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are using, have recently used or might use any other medicines, including over-the-counter medicines.

Pregnancy, breast-feeding and fertility

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Negative effects have not been reported.

Driving and using machines

Traumeel S does not compromise the ability to drive or use machines.
Traumeel S contains lactose.
If you have been told by your doctor that you have intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking this Traumeel S.

3. How to use Traumeel S

Always use Traumeel S exactly as your doctor has told you.
Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Recommended dosage:
The standard dose is 1 tablet 3 times a day, letting it dissolve under the tongue.
If you feel that the effect of Traumeel S is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

If you take more Traumeel S than you should

No cases of overdose have been reported.

If you forget to take Traumeel S

Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

If you stop taking Traumeel S

If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. Possible side effects

Like all medicines, Traumeel S can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
There can be rare cases of skin rash, rapid breathing, nausea and lowering of blood pressure.
If you experience increased saliva discharge after using the medicine, it is advisable to stop taking it.

How to store Traumeel S

This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Do not use Traumeel S after the expiry date which is stated on the carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.

2. Calendula officinalis	D2	15 mg
3. Hamamelis virginiana		D2	15 mg
4. Achillea millefolium	D3	15 mg
5. Atropa belladonna	D4	75 mg
6. Aconitum napellus	D3	30 mg
7. Mercurius solubilis Hahnemanni	D8	30 mg
8. Hepar sulfuris	D8	30 mg
9. Matricaria recutita	D3	24 mg
10. Symphytum officinale	D8	24 mg
11. Bellis perennis		D2	6 mg
12. Echinacea	D2	6 mg
13. Echinacea purpurea	D2	6 mg
14. Hypericum perforatum		D2	3 mg

The other excipients are:

1.   Lactose monohydrate 6 mg;
2.   Magnesium stearate 1.5 mg
What Traumeel S looks like and contents of the pack Carton that includes a plastic container with 50 or 250 tablets.
Description of tablet: round, white or yellowish white tablets with even surface and bevel edges, with occasional orange spots. The tablets are 3.30 to 3.90 mm thick and 9.0 to 9,1 mm in diameter.
