1. What Broncophen Sine is and what it is used for
Broncophen Sine is a traditional herbal product that is used for acute bronchitis and cough treatment as an expectorant. Soothes pharyngeal irritation and is an expectorant for cough with concomitant upper airway viral infection.
2. What you need to know before you use Broncophen Sine Do not use Broncophen Sine
if you are allergic to the active ingredients or any plants from the Lamiaceae family or any other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
Warnings and precautions
If you have fever, dyspnoea and/or pus in sputum, you should contact your doctor.
Children
It is not recommended to use the medicine in children under 2 years due to lack of data and it is necessary to consult with a doctor.

Broncophen Sine with food and drink

The recommended dose is:
Adults and adolescents 12 years of age and over: 15 mL every 3...4 hours 4...6 times daily; daily maximum dosage up to 90 mL. Children aged 4...12 7.5 mL every 3...4 hours 4...6 times daily; daily maximum dosage up to 45 mL. Children aged 2.. .4 After consultation with a doctor it is allowed to administer 7.5 mL every 3...4 hours 4.6 times per day. daily maximum dosage up to 45 mL. Children under 2 years: The medicine is not recommended for use in children under 2 years due to lack of data and it is not possible to provide recommendations. Mode of administration: Oral use.

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Hypersensitivity reactions and gastrointestinal disorders have been reported with medicine containing common thyme. Their frequency is not known.

5. How to store Broncophen Sine
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store below 25 °C. Store in the outer package, protected from light. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and carton. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month. After use, close the bottle tightly. Shelf life after the first opening of bottle is 4 weeks. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.

What Broncophen Sine contains:
- The active substances are: 15 mL of syrup 3-4 contains: 120 mg of common thyme dry extract (7-13:1) (extractive agent: water 830 mg of marshmallow root liquid extract (1:13) Extractive agent: water - The other ingredients are: Xylitol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, raspberry syrup, raspberry flavour and colorant, xanthan gum, citric acid monohydrate (E330), maltodextrin, gum arabic, purified water.
What Broncophen Sine looks like and contents of the pack
Broncophen Sine is a brownish-red viscous fluid with the taste and smell of common thyme and raspberry for oral use. The syrup is packed into a 120 mL amber-yellow glass bottle with a turnable protective plastic cap. Packed into carton packaging. The pack contains a measurement cap a scale of 2.5 mL to 20 mL that enables to measure the exact required amount. Natural-ingredient containing medical products like Broncophen sine may turn flaky; also the medicine may precipitate or attach to the inside of the turnable cap. This does not affect the quality of effect of the medicine.
