Nonivamide is a synthetic capsaicin analogue whose analgesic properties are caused by the reduction of a certain agent - substance P - in the nerve fibres after repeated administration of the medicine. Nicoboxil is an ester of nicotinic acid and 2-butoxyethanol. Nicotinic acid is a group B vitamin, which has blood vessel dilating properties intermediated by special agents (prostaglandins) in the organism. FINALGON is used externally for joint and muscle pain.
