This remedy is available without prescription. Nevertheless you still need to use Engystol exactly described in this leaflet to get the best results from it. - Keep this leaflet. 1. WHAT ENGYSTOL IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR
Engystol is a homoeopathic remedy.
2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU USE ENGYSTOL
Do not take Engystol if you are allergic to the active substances or any other ingredients of Engystol.
Warnings and precautions Take special care with Engystol
This remedy contains lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have intolerance to some sugars, talk to your doctor before taking Engystol.
Other medicines and Engystol
Interactions with other medicines are not known. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, even those bought without prescription.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. No negative experiences have been observed.
Driving and using machines
Effect of Engystol on driving and using machines has not been observed and this is not expected due to homeopathic dilutions.
3. HOW TO USE ENGYSTOL
Always take Engystol exactly as described in this leaflet. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Adults and children over 12 years of age: take 1 tablet 3 times a day. Children 6-11 years old: take 1 tablet 2 times a day. Children 2-5 years old: take 1 tablet 1-2 times a day. The tablets should be let to melt slowly in the mouth between meals. When administered to children the tablet may be crushed and dissolved in small amount of water. If you feel that the effect of Engystol is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
If you take more Engystol than you should
Overdosage has not been reported and this is not expected due to homeopathic dilutions.
If you forget to take Engystol
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If you stop taking Engystol
Consult your doctor in all questions associated with the use of the remedy.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, Engystol can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them. In rare cases allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions may occur (less than 1 case per 10,000 users). If any of the side effects get serious, or if you notice any side effects not listed in this leaflet, please tell your doctor or pharmacist.
5. HOW TO STORE ENGYSTOL
No special requirements. Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Do not use Engystol after the expiry date which is stated on the package. Do not throw away any medicines via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to throw away of medicines you no longer use. These measures will help protect the environment.
